Mendes Wood DM is pleased to present a selection of new works on paper by the Brazilian painter Paulo Monteiro. This online exhibition brings together works made by the artist in the first months of this year. The works traverse concepts of space and color that have been explored by seminal artists in the recent history of Brazilian painting.

It is with great pleasure that Mendes Wood DM São Paulo presents Heidi Bucher’s first solo exhibition in Brazil. The show brings together latex works produced by the Swiss artist from the end of the 1970s until 1990. Bucher moved to Los Angeles in the early 1970s, when she began working on her series Skinnings, an investigation into architectural structures and the body using latex, which played a key role in her practice until the end of her life. The artworks of this period recently featured at the 57th Venice Biennale, and are now presented in the gallery’s East Room.
